Welcome to the Metro Vettes Corvette Club web site.  This club  has been in existence since 1967 and is one of the oldest corvette clubs in the Washington Metropolitan area.  This club was established as a non-profit organization promoting the corvette as a common bond that fosters friendship and provides a vehicle for individuals to come together and share a common interest.

The membership base consist mainly of corvette owners from Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, however, there are members from Michigan, North Carolina, Arkansas, and Pennsylvania.  Out of the area members were at one time local members who have moved away, but still want to belong to the Metro Vettes

The METRO-VETTES CORVETTE CLUB supports the activities of many of the high schools and colleges in the area by providing transportation during parades, homecomings and special events.  It also  supports the civic activities of many local and state officials during campaigns, parades and other civic functions.

The METRO-VETTES CORVETTE CLUB is involved with  many charitable organizations such as Saint Ann’s Infant Home, Local Boys and Girls Clubs, The Kidney Foundation, Alzheimer’s Association and others.  The club collects for yearly Thanksgiving baskets for the needy and adopts a family at Christmas. The club takes pride in its support and contributions to the victims of hurricanes Rita and Katrina.
